Construction Process

Written by Robin on Saturday, January 1, 2000

We began building the New Cruiser in 1998 when I was studying civil engineering. I went back to the shop where I had worked building aluminum boats (Wolf Manufacturing) and worked with them to get the job done between my studies.

The frame was really rotten on the inner rail. We stripped everything off of it, cut the inner rail from the engine mounts to the back, and replaced it with a new 3/16″ plate welded to the outer rail, top and bottom.

These next photos show the various steps we took in fabricating the body.

These next photos show some of the more detailed parts of the fabrication.

How can I get in touch with you? I want to re-create this build. I need more pictures if the CAD is as detailed as you went. Richard. johnson2423atgmail
