South America Maps

We bought all of our hardcopy South American maps from International Travel Maps who have good coverage of the region, and are also local here in Vancouver.

We have maps of every country, as well as for different regions of South America at various scales. We hsouth-america-paper-maps.jpgave scanned them into digital format, and will be calibrating them for use in OziExplorer with our rooftop GPS. We did this for our Central America expedition in 2003, and it worked really well for us. In addition, we also have the entire compilation of digital Russian South American maps, which are very detailed.

In combination with the city maps found in the Lonely Planet guides, we’re confident that we will be able to find our way around. Although … getting a little lost sounds quite appealing!
