UvitaWe spent our last day in Jaco relaxing at a local coffee shop drinking coffee and playing chess. We also watched a couple more movies (we won’t see tv for a long time after this), and swum in the pool some more. We enjoyed our stay in Jaco, but were ready to move on when we left. We drove south following the coast and stopped in a small town, Dominical, for lunch. It was a pleasant little place with a beautiful sandy beach. It’s a surfing beach, so there were lots of surfers around … We continued our journey south and made camp in a marine park on the beach in the small town of Uvita. Ben and Lisa rented a room near the park and we all eagerly hopped into the waves to body surf. We made great chicken tacos for dinner and then spent the rest of the evening playing cards.
