We try to take ourselves and the New Cruiser on as many trips as possible. Some of them qualify as “full blown expeditions” and some are just little side trips to our life. We have written about them in this area of the website. |

Central America 2003 In 2003 we ventured into Mexico and Central America for 4 1/2 months. What a great trip it was! The route was from Vancouver, down the west coast USA, through the Baja, ferry to Mazatlan, down the Pacific Coast of Mexico, into the Yucatan, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. We also spent a few days in El Salvador on our way back home. |

Baja 2005 (1 Post): We love the wild freedom and open spaces of the Baja so much that we decided to travel back there for a 6 week vacation during Christmas 2005-06. We met some really great people, and had a very relaxing trip - Baja style. |

South America 2008 Finally, the student loans are paid off: we are ready to go on a longer expedition. We are planning 6-7 months in South America, starting in July 2008. The trip will probably involve driving both ways to and from Vancouver, although it's possible we may ship the vehicle on the way home. We're just in the planning stages now, so read up on the posts to come. |
